You don't change horses in midstream. In other words, you don't change your leader or your basic position when part-way through a campaign or a project. That is why army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has been handed a three-year extension as tension with India flared this month over the disputed territory of Kashmir.

"The decision has been taken in view of the regional security environment," said the prime minister's office in a statement announcing the decision. That the PTI government has taken a right decision is a fact. After all, you don't change horses midstream.
